Ezra is an old friend of Ray's, and a frequent collaborator and client. He is a powerful Hollywood attorney and is devoted to the memory of his beloved wife, but his dark history with Ray and Mickey threatens to disrupt his life and could even send him to prison.

Oscar® nominee Elliott Gould has a film, television, and theatre career that spans more than four decades and includes memorable roles in such films as Robert Altman's M*A*S*H, in which he played the maverick surgeon Trapper John McIntyre, and BOB & CAROL & TED & ALICE, for which he received an Oscar nomination. Some of his other notable films include A BRIDGE TOO FAR, CAPRICORN ONE, a remake of THE LADY VANISHES, and Altman's 1973 film THE LONG GOODBYE. He also received critical praise for his role in Warren Beatty's 1991 gangster epic film BUGSY.
 
In addition, he appeared in AMERICAN HISTORY X, co-starred in the OCEAN'S ELEVEN trilogy, and appeared in the 2011 feature film CONTAGION, as well as the 2012 Fox Searchlight feature RUBY SPARKS.
 
His Broadway theatre credits include: IRMA LA DOUCE; SAY, DARLING; I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE; LITTLE MURDERS; and DRAT! THE CAT! On television, Gould had a recurring guest role for nine years on FRIENDS and appeared in guest spots on LAW & ORDER; CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION and LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT.
